Meet the Maker

Hello, Mrs Quiet here.

I'm getting uncomfortably close to my fifties, which mostly involves making mysterious creaking noises every time I stand up and discovering fresh grey hairs at an alarming rate. Luckily, I own plenty of purple hair dye, so we're currently calling it a draw.

I'm married to a wonderful man who is not only far more artistic than I am but is also, rather annoyingly, better at pretty much everything. I've learned to live with it... mostly.

Together we've raised three teenage girls, who I love more than anything, despite their relentless mission to age me prematurely. Between them, a snorty Frenchie, a cat with the personality of an unimpressed Victorian ghost, and my obsession with all things creepy, our house is never short of chaos.

I've always been drawn to the darker side of life. Horror films, haunted houses, ravens, skulls, strange curiosities, forgotten relics, and anything that looks like it has a story (or a curse) attached to it. If it's a little odd, beautifully macabre, or makes people ask, "Why would anyone want that?" then it's probably exactly my kind of thing.

Before jewellery took over my life, I ran a successful business selling gothic décor and hardware online and at markets. It was an amazing adventure, but as the business grew, so did the workload. What started as a passion slowly became a never-ending cycle of packing orders, market weekends, and working every spare hour. Eventually, it was time to close the coffin lid on that chapter and start something new.

Now I pour that same passion into creating jewellery for people who embrace the unusual. Whether you're a goth, horror fanatic, witch, Halloween addict, or simply someone who believes life is too short for boring jewellery, you're in the right place.

Every piece is handmade with care, a dark sense of humour, and just enough mischief to keep things interesting.

So welcome to my little corner of the strange. Stay awhile, browse the oddities, and if something whispers your name... you should probably take it home.

After all, normal is vastly overrated.
